If Eric Schmidt, Google’s chief executive officer, hadn't pulled himself out of the running for the chief technology officer position in the Obama administration, you'd think that he was auditioning. (Barack Obama called for a Google announced that it is teaming up with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to detect the beginnings of a flu outbreak so that health officials can react.
